Obscura designed and implemented a permanent projection system that illuminates The Mart in Chicago with large-scale visual artistry 5 nights a week, 10 months of the year for 30 years. Content from this practical shoot was featured alongside four curated international artists during the show.

Practical Shoot

Using templates of The Mart building as a canvas, Obscura’s media team created abstract art for this installation using a variety of practical visual effect techniques. As practical FX director I was responsible for all rigging, lighting and cinematography during the three day shoot.
